XZ Design-Build NYC is a New York City–based architect-led commercial design-build firm specializing in restaurants, cafés, wellness spaces, medical offices, retail, offices, and other commercial interiors.
We bring architecture, interior design, engineering, permitting, project management, and construction under one coordinated team, creating a seamless path from concept to completion. We also coordinate closely with experienced NYC expediters to help projects navigate the city’s complex filing and approval process.
XZ Design-Build NYC is the commercial design-build arm of XZ Architecture & Design, led by architect Simon Zhang. This architect-led approach brings strong design standards, practical construction knowledge, and deep NYC regulatory expertise directly into the build process.
